The collapse of one band can sometimes lead to great new endeavors. Determined and with renewed spirits Last Breath Denied incarnated and started to develop rapidly into a tight playing-unit. Influenced by bands such as: Pantera, Hatebreed, Chimaira, Sepultura and Blood Has Been Shed, the band does allready have a very distinct style of it's own. The band perfectly combines straight-forward modern metal with interesting breaks, hefty riffs and melodic chorusus, a form of metal that is clear but also quite diverse. After playing just a few months together, the band was offered to record a 4-song demo that was released in August of 2003. The well-received demo quickly sold over 300 copies, and insured the band playing well over 25 shows, including winning a local band competition and finishing 4th (out of 150 entrances) in the band-competition "Grote Prijs van Zuid-Holland". The year 2005 saw the release of Defeatism, a great resounding testimony to the importance of talent and perseverance.
